We think they deserve to be engineered that way.

Storytime Toys makes premium storybook playsets for children ages 3 and up. Each one pairs a full-length classic storybook with a buildable 3D playset — characters, furniture, and a world to inhabit. Children read the story, build the scene, and play inside it. That loop of reading, building, and imagining is what makes these sets different from anything else on the market.
Every playset is engineered with the same rigor we'd bring to any serious design problem: observe the user, define the requirements, evaluate materials and mechanics, tolerance every component, prototype, iterate. The pieces fit together with satisfying precision and gentle stability for small hands. That's not an accident. It's intentional design.

The right toys build confidence, imagination, fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and literacy. The wrong ones crowd out the kind of play that builds those things. Today's families have no shortage of options. What's harder to find is something meaningful. Something children return to again and again, not just on the day they open it.
Our playsets are not disposable toys. They are worlds.

We love a good video. See our creative process to developing our toys and the creative way kids play with the finished product!
