SARA ARGUE, Art Director
Nature’s beauty, color, traveling, conceptual ideas and shared experiences inspire Rhode Island School of Design artist Sara Argue and her enthusiastic, outspoken, romantic, happy, detail-oriented personality shine through in her commercial and personal work. Passionate about artwork for children, including illustrations from her favorite kids’ books, which include “Cinderella” as illustrated by Mary Blair and “A Christmas Celebration” by Joan Walsh Anglund, Sara creates the artwork for Storytime's toys and books. She has also created her own stationary line, exhibited paintings along the East Coast and built a freelance design business in Boston and San Francisco.
In addition to art, Sara loves to cook, bake, sew, craft, make jewelry, write and decorate the home where she lives with her boyfriend, a jazz musician, composer and personal chef. Their home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is so full of creative energy that Sara thinks it feels like a living thing. She loves working there, especially first thing in the morning with a steaming cup of coffee by her side. When she isn’t being creative, which is a good deal of the time, Sara enjoys yoga, dancing, learning about wine, hiking and traveling.
