Storytime Toys is a boutique design and manufacturing company that brings beloved children’s books to life as playsets. Women-owned and founded by MIT engineer/designer Kara Dyer and RISD artist Sara Argue, Storytime Toys’ mission is to preserve old-fashioned, screen-free playtime by harnessing the immense power of story.
We've put time-tested characters from favorite tales at the heart of our toys that combine reading with art, building, and imaginative play. Familiar names and faces catch kids' attention, then a world of interactive possibilities empowers them to make their own stories, letting their creativity fly!

Grandparents love our toys.
Grandchildren are special. Whether they live far away, or right next door, grandparents can always connect with a story.
Shared Stories: Our toys are based on classic fairytales and beloved children's books. Always familiar and so special.
Easy to Play: The toy house and characters look just like the world that's illustrated inside the book. So it's easy to jump right into sweet and wholesome play together.
A toy to bring every time: Everything packs up flat into a carrying case. Kids love to bring their set along when they visit loved ones.

EASY SELL. I sold 3 in less than a week! A simple, easy gift that sells itself. I recommend getting a display to set up. I had my children assemble.

I bought the Goldilocks set for my preschool classroom. You could have heard a pin drop when I read the story using the house and props. My students were enthralled! I love it so much I bought the Three Little Pigs set too. Worth every penny!

My son is four, but he is also Autistic. This is the first toy that he actually has sat down and played with more than once. He loves it! He can play by himself, but now he is starting to interact with others and have other people play with him. Best toy I have ever bought!
Amanda, mother of four-year-old
We use our two Storytime Toys sets all of the time! They are fantastic for eliciting language, conversational turn-taking and shared imagination!!!
